Josef Mouris

Building model airplanes since age 11. Never had the opportunity to fly F5B in competition untill I started with F5F at the end of the 2007 flying season. Using a second hand Ariane V10 on 10 Sub C cells and Hacker B50-6S for a personal best of 33 legs.

Entered the F5B class in 2008 flying Surprise S11+ on 5S Thunder Power and various Neu motors. Improved on the flying and hit a high with 41 legs. Most time was spend testing various setups and develloping some sort of flying style. But onlike most others, testing was often still done on the competition day.

Went to the 2008 WC in Kiev  as a single person team and managed a fairly consistant 40/39 legs in very bad conditions. Only 3 official rounds where flown in 8 days due to the bad weather. Michel Uzan of France hinted of a WC title in my future, so we will see what happens in 2010.

Since then while still flying an Avionik B1L with T-tail fuselage that was maidenend in Kiev, best score has improved to just short of 45 legs flying a severly beat up plane.

For 2010 the fleet will include an Avionik B08. So be scared, be vary scared!!!

The Dutch are coming!!!
