Steve Burns

2008 was my first year flying F5B. It all started at the 2007 Nationals, I'd been flying in the 200w/kg class and Mike Proctor said "you've got to come and see F5B tomorrow, when you do you'll want one". The rest as they say is history.

Models for 2008 have been Enigmas, for 2009 it's a Avionic B1L as number one model and a Enigma for a back up model.

After lots of out of season practise days with Alan, Dick and Martin I've now managed to get through that magical 40 leg barrier with a new competition personal best of 41 legs.

After a bad middle season I managed to improve my flying at the nationals. I put in three 40 leg flights and a 39 leg flight but only managed to complete the duration once so still a lot more work to do but at least the speed is better.

It seems that now Joe has stopped running out of motor it must be my turn!

For next year maybe a pair of B08's and a Hacker 6L on one of those new Neu props?

Steve.

Whats that one do?
